My name is Michael Husfloen-McNutt, along this journey most call life, I've been through many ups and downs. I began smoking weed at the age of eight, and continued onto harder drugs by the age of fifteen. When I turned 16 I put myself in foster care, after 4 families, 2 cities, and three years, I made it to college. After two years of testing out of classes, partying, and hard drug abuse, I had come to the realization that this isn't how I wanted to spend my life, that there had to be more out there. Eventually, I continued on here to McCall, Id. To escape what had held me down all these years. When I finally arrived I soon realized that there was not a job in sight. Rising Rebels has been a life saver, they have allowed me to make work in a jobless community doing something that I actually love to do, as well as a way to help others through and beyond what I had gone through. So to those of you who have been down these roads, or wish to prevent others from going down them, become a part of this life saving organization.
